Wedding and Honeymoon Wardrobe: HELP!

Ok, so I live in MD and am getting married in SC and then Honeymooning in FL (Amelia Island). On the way back to MD my greandmother is having a second reception for me.

Anyway... my mom wants to buy me a whole new wedding/married life wardrobe (and I am sure as heck not going to stop her), but I am trying to figure out what/ how much clothes to get.

We will drive down Thursday, have bachelor/bachelorette on Friday, Rehearsal Saturday, Wedding Sunday, Honeymoon from Monday- Saturday, have second reception Sunday, Monday head home. How many clothes and what will I need?

Here were my thoughts...

I will need:

bachelorette outfit

outffit for rehearsal (can be used again for second reception)

outfit for Welcome Happy Hour and Lawn Games

Outfits for travel (2-3)

Day clothes (mixture of sporty causal and nicer casual)

Beach Clothes

Evening Outfits

So... here is what I thought, please give me your insight!

Bachelorette Dress or Cute Top with Jeans

Rehearsal Dress

Cute Top with jeans for Happy Hour/ Lawn Games

Honeymoon Clothes:

2 Pairs Jeans

1 Pair Linen Pants

3-4 Shorts (khaki, white, navy)

2-3 Running Shorts

3-5 Casual tee shirts

3-5 Cute Tops

3-5 Dresses for evenings

1 one piece

1 bikini

1 cover up

Help me. I don't want to be lugging around a ton of stuff, but I also want enough that I won't be worried about having enough clothes (and a good variety). Should I pack seperately for my wedding and honeymoon?

Oh man I can't even help, but I sure am jealous! The only thing I could think of here would be having comfy clothes for getting ready the day of the wedding! I don't really know what I'm wearing, but I know a lot of people wear zip ups because it is easy to take off with your hair!

I think everything you have listed sounds great, and yes I would keep things organized for wedding versus HM.

Also, Ameila Island is lovely. I love Fernandina Beach. We used to go there a lot in college.

Yeah, I am planning on wearing a pretty champagne colored robe while getting ready (will just be getting ready in hotel room with MOH, Mom, and MIL).

It is just so crazy to pack for so many events!

EM1092- We are so excited about Amelia Island. I haven't been since I was a little kid and my fiance has never been so it will be lots of fun! At least the place we are staying gives us beach towels, chairs, etc (and bikes to ride to the beach) so we don't have to worry about any of that!

I think you've got it covered well. I personally wouldn't need 2-3 running shorts, but I guess it can't hurt?

That is crazy to pack for so much at once. I like to try to do multi tasking items, so maybe one or two of your day clothes outfits you have while in SC can do double duty at your HM? I live in the PNW (aka South Alaska...it's raining/snowing/blowing 50mph today) so IDK if the weather is similar in SC as it is in FL, but if you can get away with a couple outfits doing double duty (day outfit the day before the wedding, for instance you could wear again on the HM) to save room in your suitcase? Just a thought.

Your list looks good to me though. It sounds like a lot of fun!

Wow, definitely a lot to think about. I think you have it mostly covered. I agree with PP about some outfits wearing twice, also what about something to sleep in?
