Invitation recs PLEASE

I know there are tons of places to order wedding invitations on-line.  However, the FI and want to see invitations in person.  Do you guys know/used any vendors located in the outer-boroughs? 

Also, outside of Manhattan.  I am afraid of Manhattan prices.

    I did mine from Wedding Paper Divas.com....

    Did you know you could order samples? That's what we did.  We picked a few and ordered samples so that we woudl know what they would feel like.

    I bet some of the nicer Hallmark Stores in the city have invitations.

    I am the same way, I have to see it in person. We went to Lion in the Sun, they are in park slope Brooklyn. They have pretty much everything you see online. We just ordered our invitations and I absolutely love them! I would definitely recommend them. Good Luck!

    I used Sincerely Yours, in Long Island.  She had a ton of samples for me to look at.  More info in my married bio (and pics of hte scroll invites I had in my planning bio).  Links in siggy.

    Try Vows on Broadway in Denville, NJ
    They discount Cranes 30%, others more
