Honeymoon Help- Sorry if Repetative

Hi! So I'm considering a Vegas Honeymoon next March.  I did some searching but it was a real mess and I couldn't find much. I have looked on the Honeymoon board and got tips on good websites for discount and some things to do. We're not drinkers or partiers. But we like entertainment: shows etc.  I just have some questions still...

1. I want to know what your experinece is with temp in middle of march. Internet says avg 69 but I'm hoping it tends to be warmer than that...

2. I'm looking for Romantic suggestions! Romantic Hotels and Romantic things to do. I've heard Paris, Bellagio, Wynn. And for activites the Gondola Ride.

3. Best free things to do.

4. Is Vegas a mess during Spring Break time (march)

5. Whats the pool scene typically like? Can you just get a seat and chill?

6. Any recommendations for helicopter tours, or white water rafting in the grand canyon?

7. Is it hard to get a lunch for $30? What's an average dinner price?

8. If you want to go for 7 days and want to see a show every night what kind of cash would you recommend bringing? We won't be drinking hardly at all. Will probably do a little gambling. We'll do a lot of sight seeing and a few excursion type things.

I grately appreciate all the help! Sorry its so long. I just figured there was experience here on this board!

I might sound repetitive too, at this point... I'd get a good guide (like Frommer's) and start reading about all there's to do/eat/see/free stuff in LV.
Just in case you haven't seen it I'm pasting a recent HM thread.
For shows, I'd reserve seats beforehand instead of using the cash you bring with you. If you subscribe to Cirque du Soleil they email you their promo codes.
For a romantic dinner I guess you can't go wrong with the Eiffel Tower restaurant, for example. Hubby and I had our wedding tete-a-tete dinner there and loved it.
For hotels, I'm always partial to the Wynn... just LOVE IT!
    Hope I could help!

You have to be careful in March because of March Madness it can really cause the hotel prices to go up.

    1) 70 degrees is about right for March, it also tends to be windy. I find bringing a light cardigan with me works out well. But it really depends on home much time you plan on spending outside. For the most part, your going to be spending your time inside a climate crontrolled casino,

    2) Romantic places to eat: MIX at MB The Hotel, Eiffel Tower Restaurant, Alize at the Palms, Lakeside at the Wynn

    3) Bellagio Fountains, Mirage Volcano, MGM Lions, Venetian streetmosphere, Freemont Street Experiance

    4) I would worry more about March Madness than spring break. Spring break is more in April

    5) Depending on the day/hotel/pool. Yes you can. I think at that time of year, you shouldn't have problems. Most pools are just starting to open up, I usually don't see too many people in the pool until later in April.

    6) I've never been on any of the tours. You might want add Hoover Dam on your list though.

    7) $30 is reasonable for lunch. I personally like The Pub in Monte Carlo. Burgers are $11-18. Most of the buffets are in the $15-25 range.
Dinner prices kind of depend on where your going and what your eating. I would say for us, most meals are $50-75 pp. That''s usually a split app, entree each and 2 drinks each. It really depends on your taste.

    8) Shows are going to cost you at least $100pp for each show. We like to use the Tix4Tonight booths to get shows tickets the day of, It saves a bit of money, usually between 25-50% off. You can also get discount vouchers for restaurants at the booths.
Vegas can be expensive, I would say to see 6 shows expect to $1000 (for both of you, not each), $1500 for food, another $600 for excursions, tours, gambling money (if your not big gamblers), etc.

    1. I have never been in March. I went the end of Feb. (last weekend) and one night it rained but the day time weather was nice 70-75. The wind is what made is a little chilly. But if you walk to places it doesn't really bother you because you get warm walking.

    2. Ballagio would be a great one! We stayed at Encore and LOVED IT! obviously its attached to Wynn so that is another AWESOME pick too! Honestly as far as hotels they will all be nice. You don't spend much time in there (at least we didn't) so staying in something that is a little cheaper then those will still be nice and worth it!

    3. There are ALOT of free things to do! Ballagio Conservatory, ceasars shopping center, ballagio fountans, M&M factory, and some of the other ones others have listed. Carnival Court is one of my favs to! Free bands or live entertainment. Also just walking into all the different hotels is fun and free!

    4. Like said before just be careful of march madness

    5. I didn't think the pools were open this early (or they just start) so it shouldn't be a problem)

    6. no idea I do know they offer them tho

    7. Food can get pricey. We like to do the 24hr buffet pass. If you get a players card its like 60$ a person. We normally use it for dinner, bfest, lunch, dinner. so 4 meals. You can eat a different buffets so it comes in handy and u aren't eating at the same place 4 times. Dinner can get pricey. I would say 40 and up for dinner.

    8. There are some awesome shows! and vegas.com and bestofvegas.com are running GREAT deals on shows rite now. some even come will buffet passes or upgraded seats for general price. If you like comedy I would say Gorge Wallace! He is hilarious and his show is about 60$. Tournament of the Kings is a fun one to. I have seen La Rev which is good. I would say expect to spend 60-120$ per show depending on the show you go to. There are ALOT of good ones tho! When we went we got lucky because we got a deal from the wynn in the mail (they send them out often so look for them) and we got 4 nights in an encore suit, 50$ each on our gaming cards, 2 tickets to La Rev (could sit ANY WHERE), 2 buffet passes all for 350$. We got to use it over a weekend too so it was a steal! We took about 1200$ for the 2 of us. (we brought our wallace tickets before hand) and we ate drank and gambled no problem. We were only there tho 4 nights. Since you would be there a hole week I would say at least 2000$-3000$ depending on how you spend $$. We bought pictures and stuff that some of the shows took so you have to factor that into shows, food, gambling and drinking! Hope you have a good time though! Vegas never lets me down.

(also to save $$ on taxis we walked places and bought a 3 day moneral pass and used that thing like CRAZY to get from one place to another!)

I would recommend Mandalay Bay's THEhotel if you're looking for a romantic room.  The soaking tubs are insane.  However, it's at the very far end of the strip, so you spend a lot of time getting around.  But, after all, it IS your honeymoon!

ETA - I've been to Vegas during March Madness.  It's crowded and fun... but hotels are usually more expensive.
