  Our officiant was Bill Howden, from Marriage Makers.  We wanted a non-denominational ceremony with different cultural aspects included as well (arras, lazo).  He was great to work with and helped us personalize our entire ceremony through email. 
  I just looked at the website though, and he's no longer listed as a minister.  I can't speak for the other ministers that are still with Marriage Makers, but my H and I were very happy with our experience and appreciated the time Mr. Howden took with us to prepare a customized ceremony based on our preferences.

  We're using Kelly Atkin from Amor Ceremonies.  She is very reasonalby priced and  has 7 or 8 different ceremonies but she will let you customize the ceremony any way you want. I would recommend meeting with any officiates you are interested and asking them to walk you through the ceremony and getting a feel for what they are like. You can also ask if they have any references.

  I am using Amani Malaika.  She's the most empowering and wise choice I have found so far.  She's willing to help with everything, including some work with the couple to get them on the same page about philosophy and vows.  Because she also facilitates workshops for women and has a history in the healing arts and in counseling, she has been an amazing and educational resource.  Almost like pre-marital counseling!  No one better.  Contact me if you want her info.
