videographer

hey ladies,

i'm helping out a friend who would like a videographer, possibly for ceremony only. any suggestions? i've got calls into CW digital visuals, D&R films, and cinematic wedding experience. the cheaper the better.

TIA!

We went with J and J digital media.  The reviews were great, the prices were great, and I met with Bennie a few weeks ago and he was great.  HTH!

I'm using Chris Brock for videography (www.chrisbrock.com) or on facebook - Christopher Brock Cinemaphotography

Just be sure you pick someone who is somewhat professional.  I was at a wedding this past Saturday and the "videographer" was walking around behind the bride and groom during the entire ceremony and holding the camera up to their faces.  It looked awful.

I don't see any problem handing a video camera to Uncle Bob and letting him video the ceremony.  From the back of the aisle.

    Define "cheaper"?

we are using Walk on Water Video Productions. I've also heard good things about Three Ring Media

He is located in AL... but my videographer has GREAT pricing (in my standards) and only charges $50 for traveling (if he has to stay at a hotel I believe). You should check him out.  I'm paying $645 for ceremony & reception 3 blu-ray and 6 standard dvds (the discs come in all his packages). He is a GREAT guy!!
