Photo Guestbook?

Hi,

I want to do a guestbook that's a photo album of our e-pictures/childhood pics, etc, and wanted to ask if anyone had recommendations on who to use. I know you can create them on Snapfish and MyPublisher, but wasn't sure about the quality. Do they look cheap? Any tips?

Thanks!

I am doing this as well and have gotten a lot of tips from the ladies on the DIY board. Many of them suggest Snapfish or Mixbook.com - I am planning to use Mixbook from the reviews I have gotten on the DIY board. They have a lot of different templates and is easy to use. You may want to repost this over there as well... Good luck!

We used Snapfish for ours and it turned out great. I was afraid of cheesy but it didn't turn out that way at all! We were lucky enough to that when I went to order snapfish was also having a 50% off photobooks sale...BONUS! Keep your eyes open and sign up to receive emails about their deals! Definitely would go with them!

There are quite frequenty groupons for mixbook. I use a blog called groupon girl to find all the online groupons listed under all the different cities.

    Here is that blog: http://www.groupbuygirl.com/

    Good luck!

I'm a big fan of Shutterfly and used it for our guestbook, parent albums and honeymoon pics. There are always big discounts and the quality was nice for the price. MPIX is also wonderful, although more expensive.

We used fine and medium point Sharpies to sign the guestbook and had no problems with smudging or bleeding through.

I used Picaboo for our guest book of engagement pictures. The software is really easy to use and there are a lot of page options. Our guests seemed to like it.  I also use Snapfish to buy prints all the time and the quality is great. I would just watch out for sales, etc. I feel like I constantly see groupons/youswoops, etc. for photobooks.

And ditto to pp--I got acid-free marker/pens to use.
