HAWAII 7 day cruise

Anyone done the Norweigan Cruise Line 7 day Hawaii cruise? or at least  thinking about it? There are mixed reviews on the web, but it sounds like it  has gotten better over the last few years. It looks like a great way to see Hawaii "on a budget"

    I did this cruise in 2004.  The islands were great but the cruise itself sucked.  It was boring, there was no entertainment, and the service was just ok.

    I did this cruise a few years ago and I thought it was an AMAZING way to see Hawaii. You got to see a little bit of each island and gave me a great idea of where I would want to travel back to on a separate vacation. The cruise line is like any other cruise line and I have been on all the major ones. If you have been on a cruise before, you know what to expect. As for the destination, I would highly recommend doing the Hawaii tour of the islands.

    I did this cruise back in 2009 and will be doing it again this summer for my honeymoon! I convinced my fiance to do it for our honeymoon for good reason. There is no other way that you'd be able to see that many islands in 7 days! I don't know how people choose just one or two of the islands to honeymoon on because they each have so much to offer. With this cruise (and especially with overnights in Maui and Kuaui) you can see the top aspects to the islands.
    I've seen people's complaints about the service... but I have no idea what they're talking about. I actually enjoyed talking to the crew, even became facebook friends with some of them after my vacation was over. In fact, after 8 cruises, I got to know the staff best on this NCL cruise than any other!
    As far as entertainment goes, I thought it was similar to other cruises. But with the two overnights, I'd recommend getting off the ship and seeing the islands at night. Take advantage of your floating hotel!
