Yoni and I were traveling with Taglit Birthright to Israel. The last day of the 10 day tour, we finally got to Masada. We hiked all the way up Masada and when we finally reached the top, our tour guide Nadav asked the group to get into a U shape. He asked for a female volunteer, and by this time i was so sweaty and exhausted all i wanted to do was sit down and chug some water.... Nadav asked me to come to the front and asked if i was ready... at this point i was ready for sleep... Yoni was next called up and I saw him get down on one knee. I screamed "holy cr@p" and than asked me to marry him. I was so nervous, happy, tired, and sweaty, but this was my dream proposal and it happened. A very romantic proposal over looking the dead sea. I am happy that my YJ Taglit family was there to share this special day with us.
