Hi ladies!

How was everyone's weekend?!

Saturday FI and I did some cleaning, worked on our website (www.ourmarriageontherocks.com), and started training for our Half Ironman. Today we ran before church, went to church (super emotional today- I cried almost the whole time!) and then went grocery shopping.

Right now we're watching the Giants game and FI is making homemade mac and cheese. Smells SO good.

Well, we met with our Cake lady who is an Indian woman. At our first tasting FI was going on..and on about how much he loves these certain dishes and long story short, they invited us over again to try those dishes to possibly have her cater for the wedding. We tried it today with my MOH and we LOVED it! We'll see what her prices are, but it was awesome. I am so happy we found her.

Oh, and my car won't start. But hopefully we can figure it all out tomorrow.

Friday we went out to dinner and then went to the mall so FI could exchange some clothes he got for Christmas that didn't fit.

Saturday we woke up to snow so we shoveled. Quiet afternoon, then we went and saw Demetri Martin (hilarious!).

Today we lounged around all day watching football. FI actually went out and grilled for dinner:

He said it wasn't that cold when he was right up next to the grill. He's nuts.

I worked Friday and Saturday. Felt kind of sick last night so I didn't do much. I cleaned like a mad woman today... even steam cleaned the carpets.... haha Then FI and I went out and browsed the mall then picked up some materials for a DIY so I'm abput to get cracking on that

I worked on Saturday also. After work my FI and I went our for a late birthday dinner with one of his groomsmen and his wife. It was fun because I really didn't know but we had a blast. We are trying to plan on a bowling trip next weekend. Today my FI drove me to Michales to use my extra 25%off coupon. I really didn't find anything so I got a charm for my brooch bouquet. My FI drove me because we have had freezing rain all day and I am not so good on the ice!

Have been ice-bound for the last two days!!! We had a freak ice storm and I don't walk that well so I have been trapped LOL. The good news is boy have I made lots of DIY progress! Almost finished with the frames for the table #'s (ran out of crystals

( or they would have been done). Only need to make 25 more tissue packs and they will be done also! Finished a blanket for our bed that I have been working on for a month, and also finished I'm HIs/I'm Hers chalk board frames.

Wow when I write it, it looks like a lot!!

Our weekend was pretty quiet. It snowed on Saturday so we basically just lounged around all day until we went to FI's aunts house to celebrate his grandma's birthday. We only got about 5 inches but I hate driving in the snow so that was a pain but dinner was delish and we had a great time.

Today, we have been watching football all day. SUPER excited that the Pats are going to the superbowl. It wasnt a pretty game but I'll take it. My dads a season ticket holder and Im hoping he gets drawn in the season ticket lotto for a chance at superbowl tickets. Even though they would be most likely be super expensive, I'd love to go!!

Saturday I finally took down our holiday decorations and then FI and I went to a Canadian Women's Hockey Game and AHL doubleheader. Today I went to Kleinfeld's in NYC and found MY DRESS!

I got my veil and headpiece too. So excited to be crossing such a big check off my list!

It was a pretty relaxing weekend... Fiance cooked a nice dinner friday night, saturday I lounged/did some grocery shopping and went out to dinner, today was relaxing as well (went to Macy's for a bit to see if we want to register there). Overall, pretty nice!

Yesterday I was one of the many stupid people out on the terrible roads during the snow storm. However, I was able to go with my best friend to get fitted for her BM dress and put her deposit down, we went to lunch and then I visited with my mom for awhile and talked about honeymoon possiblities. We're thinking either the Meditteranean or (if budget isn't there) the Caribbean. Both being a cruise. FI doesn't care where we go, as long as it's a cruise.

Today we've spent the day watching football. I'm so glad that the Patriots are going to the Superbowl, I wouldn't want to live with FI if they'd lost lol. Now I'm getting ready for my first 5 day work week in over a month, can't wait for President's day! :-)

My weekend was stressful. I missed a birthday party on Saturday, for one of my m's daughter

I missed seeing all of my bridal party and their kids. Sunday, i spent the morning today with my bridesman and his family, for his sons bday. Then spent the rest of the day ironing out the guest list kinks.

Sounds like everyone was busy this.weekend! Friday was my birthday and FI took me to see Beauty and the Beast in 3D, then made us dinner at home and we had cake

perfect birthday!! Saturday I was snowed in, and watched a movie with my FI after he got home from work. Today we worked on the frames for the reception table names and watched football with the future in-laws. FI got me the Wii Zumba game and I've been doing it non-stop.... I love it!! And Laur--- can't wait to see your dress!! Bet its beautiful. Will we be seeing you on a future Say Yes to the Dress episode??

Friday night was FI's last night at work, he got out early and brought me flowers and season 5 of Dexter, then made dinner

Saturday my mom and I went to the well wed wedding affair bridal show 2 hours away, but in the city my brother lives in so we took him out to lunch and grocery shopping etc.. He just got back from 3 weeks in Europe so it was good to see him and we got to meet his dog and look at pictures. Bridal show was pretty but kind of a bust-in that I didn't find any new vendors or see and BM dresses I liked, I did like the free cocktails though

My florist did some table tops designs, and she had said she may use the sample birch holders we took her a few weeks ago, she didn't, but most likely because there were 2 other florists who used birch on their tablescapes. Regardless is was a fun day spent with my mom and the roads weren't as terrible as we had thought they'd be.

We did a lot of work in the upstairs at as well, all that left is the stairwell and foyer area to paint (which I'm not doing until the new stove comes up the stairs tomorrow) and then the ballisters to stairs and all the floor boards to paint. Plan is that FI will sand floors thurs and friday and we stain and seal over the weekend. Which means a week of no walking up there so next week I'll get to catch up on all the chores in my house that have been neglected and do some wedding stuff.

Then of course last night rocked for us, we watched the games at my parents in my dad basement/bar/shine to the giants! and I couldn't be happier to get a rematch with the patriots! My dad is on nights for a few weeks and FI is laid off so they were pretty into it last night and I may have overindulged with them a bit too, so kind of a rough morning today but its quiet around here and the day is half over.
