SUPER disappointed. I liked the venue for the most part, how it was secluded, but the curb appeal wasn't that great. Well after I talked to John, saw the place, he gave me a proposal, way over what I felt I would spend at that particular place, and came back saying he only had Sunday's available in September, and one Friday and September 11th. So I e-mailed him back, over a week ago asking if he had any Saturday's in October. I have YET to hear back from him. So I went looking at other places and FI and I put a deposit down at CBRS! So happy and the people there are sooo friendly and helpful. So glad I decided to keep looking than deal with unanswered questions.

    Haha, I am getting married there, but do agree with your points.  Not the best curb appeal in the front, but way better in the back.  I think their response time could hurt them in the future.  It's like pulling teeth every time.  My policy is this.  I am paying you __K dollars, you should answer me within 72 hours and have good customer service.

    Yep...I think Kelly and I warned you about their slowness in responding...so needless to say neither of us are surprised :-P I'd totally email John and tell them that due to their slow response you went ahead and put a deposit down somewhere else.  The key to success is responsiveness!You know after my wedding they asked for my thoughts about the venue and service, etc, but I just kind of ignored them.  But now that I'm 2 months removed from my wedding I may write them because I figure I'd only be helping future brides...Ah well...I'm sure you'll have a beautiful wedding at CBRS.

    Yeah, that is the one thing I was a little skeptical about going to even see the place, since you both did tell me it was a slow response time. But jessh, 10 days now and NOTHING. I have e-mailed him twice and called once. FI was upset because it came across as he wants to save the "huge" weddings for sat eveing. That's fine, but say it up front! ya know. I did like Silver Swan Bayside, the view was beautiful, but customer service is a sure F. I'm really excited about CBRS though!! On Saturday FIL's, my parents, FI, his brother, my sister and his grandmother are ALL going down to see it and have lunch!! Can't wait!

    We are having a wedding there in May...this place was such a wonderful find for our daughter's wedding...on the water, elegant, understated and the service has been great...Amelia get's back to us in less than 24 hours for every inquiry...they are gong all out for our affair...we just had our tasting and their new chef, Chef Scott is amazing...with former connections with Top Chef his passion for food matches ours...every dish was a culinary experience...we can't wait for the main event in may...the water background with the bay bridge is perfect...we are excited for our families and friends to see the Silver Swan for themselves and be enchanted as we have been...
