Shower Themes??

Hi gals,

I'm just curious if anyone knows the details of thier showers? My MOH and Mom are throwing my shower, I know the date and thats about it.

I've heard of and been to hour showers, lingerie showers.... I was just wondering if anyone has heard of or is using any other creative themes for their showers?

My MOH used the something blue theme (little blue box). Found the theme and ideas from this site: http://www.hostesswiththemostess.com/themes/bridal_showers. They have 15 theme ideas, if you click on them, gives you table decor pics and ideas too

My shower's theme was a Mad Hatter Tea Party. Some of the other showers I've been to recently had the following themes: Hawaiian Luau, Travel theme, english tea party, etc.. all cute ideas!

my mom said because I am going to have alot of kitchen stuff on my registry she is going to have a kitchen theme. she is going to ask for people to fill out their best recipes and bring the spices to use for it.

Mine was a baking theme as far as gifts go, but we also had it at an old historic railroad and had 50s music and favors. My mom planned it all and did such an amazing job. It was super unique.

I'm a teacher, along with most of my close friends, so my MOH is doing an ABC theme. Each girl was sent a letter tag with their invitation and their gift must somehow begin with that letter and have the tag on it. What else it involves, I'm not sure, but I'm very excited!

My shower theme was "The Giving Tree." My sister-in-law designed the invitations & decorations with Photoshop edited artwork from the book.

I don't know the theme but the end of the party will be a passion party presentation! I guess it's lingerie themed ?! Can't wait for all the awkward moments!! Haha
