DJ Woes

Yikes! If I book a certain venue, I have to go with one of their preferred djs! They are Bamboo Beats, Affairs to Remember, Seattle Parties, Your Song, Austin Beaver, Good Times, Beautiful Noise. Do you know anything about them? Good? Stinky? What about prices? I heard Bamboo Beats was good but maybe pricey?

    Bamboo Beats is awesome. Especially if you want hip, current, funky music.   We met w/ several DJ's and didn't like any of them.  I know there are a couple other girls on here who feel the same way.  Their prices start at $1250.  But, worth it.

    I was worried about this vendor, but we met with Chris Graves (Your Song DJ) and all my worries went away.  We clicked from the very beginning!!  His style reminds me of Michael Buble and I think he will be great for our mostly 35+ age group. 

    I've heard great things about Bamboo Beats and Austin Beaver, but I think Austin Beaver is VERY pricey and books early.

    My brother used Austin Beaver at his wedding.  He IS expensive, but it was an awesome party.  I don't think there was one person that didn't dance.  My SIL said if you can make sacrifices in other areas of budget, he's worth the splurge.  
    I didn't use Chris Graves (Your Song) because he was already booked, but he was SO nice.  He offered to help me in any way wedding-related, even though I didn't book him.
    Finally, I met the guy from Bamboo Beats at the wedding show.  He was really cool, and he's one of the only DJs around who uses real turntables to mix.
