Acadia Wedding Venue?

Help!  I've been desperately searching for a venue for my wedding next summer and kind find anything that feels "right".  I grew up in Maine, and have my heart set on an Acadia wedding, but everything that I am finding in that area seems so "packagey".  Any suggestions out there for an out-of-the box venue in Mount Desert Island.  We are expecting about 120-130 guests.

    The only places I can think of have that same feel.
    I am not sure. What's your pice range? That could help, because I expect it to be very pricey there.

    I do love the Bar Harbor Hotel and think it would be a fabulous place!

     I and another knottie both had our reception at the Neighborhood House in Northeast Harbor....definitely not a "package" since it is just a facility but I'd be happy to email you more info.  ah heath at yahoo dot com

    That would be great!  I actually saw The Neighborhood House, but was unable to find pictures anywhere on the internet.  I'll send you my email address!

    Look outside of Bar Harbor. Like The Asticou.

    Have you considered the Causeway Club? http://www.thecausewayclub.org/ The (red) barn (pictured on their home page) is very cool.
