Another week...

How was everyone's weekend???

Friday Night: had the boys over for an NHL BBQ. Between myself and five guys, we killed 46 beers. Good thing they all live in Milford and two are walking-distance hahaa

Saturday: house stuff, cut the grass, trimmed the bushes...boring adult stuff. Swung by Walnut Beach for about two hours.

Sunday: drove 45 freakin minutes in that freak thunderstorm to my friend's place in Redding and hung out at her pool, grilled.

Overall a very good weekend! And didn't do ANY WR stuff, now that I look back LOL. Only 89 days to go...

Friday: FI had his stag and it was awesome, i had dinner with one of my bridesmaids

Saturday: went to brody park flea market and bought a few more vintage cameras for my collection, visited with my sister and her husband who are visiting from polnad for the summer

Sunday: did a million loads of laundry, got a pedicure with my sisters and mom while the boys cut my dads grass. lol.

We were in Newport on our mini-moon this weekend! It was fabulous- we toured the mansions, walked the cliffwalk, sat on the beach, and ate way way way too much food!! I did not want to leave yesterday to come back to the real world- I told DH we need to get a house out there ;-)

Friday: I did a shred work out after work and then FI and I went to Happy Hour for a bit, then had a movie night.

Saturday: Laid out by the pool in the morning thenI had my final dress fitting and my mom and MOH learned how to do my bustle and lace up the back of my dress.
Then Saturday night was my bachelorette. We had a party bus and went up to Mohegan. The party bus portion was co-ed with FI's bachelor party as well, but we split from the guys at the casino and us girls went to Ultra and danced our butts off. It was an absolute blast and anyone else thinking of doing a combined party for theirs, I highly recommend it! It was so much fun to have everyone together on the bus, but to split up when we got to the casino.

Sunday: Recovery from the night before... bleck. Laid poolside trying to rehydrate until the crazy thunderstorms came through.

Our weekend was nice and relaxing...Friday we just hung out together, and then Saturday we had a birthday party for our nephew.

Sunday, DH did a sprint triathlon in Mystic, so that was nice to be down there...

However, we aren't renewing our lease, and now we have to deal with our landlord showing our appt which sucks..and we have NO IDEA where we are going to live.

it's so nice now that the temp has gone down!

Weekend was great! Monday comes WAY too fast!!! 9 days left of work!

Friday: Relaxed with the FI! Woot! LOVE doing nothing & relaxing!

Saturday: Gym & drove freaking an hour & half to the boondocks of NY to see our NEW HOUSE!!! Holy crap--anyone ever think of doing a modular home--DO IT!!! AMAZING!!!! I am still in shock! Going to be such an amazing house!!

Sunday: Went to run some errands with FI & looked at some condos! Too darn expensive down here!! BOO! My MOH came over with her kids to swim & chill at the pool!!! FUN FUN!!!

Another week

Went minigolfing on Friday, I lost (got +30 pts at the end of it lol) so I treated everyone to ice cream

Went to get my contract for wedding venue on Saturday (yay!) and then Foxwoods for the Titanic exhibit. It was awesome! I love seeing the artifacts, it was heartbreaking in the end though. some of hte passengers were unlikely to be transferred to the Titanic last minute (thanks to the coal strike!).

Went grocery shopping in West Hartford on Sunday and got caught in the storm!!! It was freaky...rain pouring down like crazy with hail and stuff. We didn't really know where to go, we just headed where there were clear skies LOL But yea it wasn't fun driving on I-84 with all that rain!!! FI was freaked out (he was the one driving)...poor guy.

All in all it was a good weekend, didn't want Monday to come!

lol i sooooo freaked about the weather! i'm a weather nut to begin with...i should have been a meteorologist lol. i was watching Channel 8 and my power went out, literally right after they said there was a tornado warning and everyone should take cover. so i actually did grab my dog and head down into my basement!

No we didn't go to the spa, we were just up there for the evening. I've been to the Elemis Spa though before and LOOOOVED it! I highly recommend it if you were thinking of doing that as part of your b-party.

We went to Ultra, it was alright. I had been there once before and never really knew what all the fuss was about. I prefer Shrine at MGM Grand/Foxwoods over Ultra at Mohegan. But, I love Mohegan's casino better, so that's why we went there. We didn't get a VIP table because my MOH called back when she booked the party bus, and they were quoting her like $1800 for a VIP table plus like $500 for bottle service... RIDICULOUS! I've heard VIP tables at Shrine are actually a lot cheaper. I have a feeling they were trying to rip off my MOH, I can't understand it'd be that expensive. So we just danced our butts off and got up in one of those cage things overlooking the crowd. It was a lot of fun!

Friday was nice and relaxing. Cooked dinner and just hung out with FI. Saturday we headed to Newport. Saw a few of the mansions, went to the beach, did some shopping and they weather actually was nice! Sunday- Relaxed and waited for the big storm, which ended up only lasting about 20 mins lol Now it’s back to work…boo..why is it so much harder to work in the summer??

Haha this is me too!

Friday: I work overnights, but right before I went to work there was a motorcycle accident (minor, everyone was okay, no serious damage) right in front of my house, FI was working late looking for a part for his car that is causing the whole passenger door to not have power (so the window, the mirror, the door locks don't work, which sucks for me when I ride with him lol)

Saturday: Got home, slept all afternoon while FI was doing his timing belt on his car all day, then he came home and we relaxed on the couch (rather, I continued relaxing lol)

Sunday: Great day with the FI :) He looked into selling his car to CarMax, so first we went to the shop to swap over his wheels back to the ones they came with. Then we went down to East Haven and that took about an hour. Then on our way back to our area, some Craiglist chick from Lowell, MA had the part that FI was looking for on Friday, so we took a 2 1/2 hour trip up there (5 hours round trip) to get it....then we stopped at Walmart and got a few movies for $5 and watched The Hurt Locker before bed

Gosh I had a feeling they were taking her for a ride.. maybe it was because she said how many people were on the bus.. maybe they priced it out for our whole group which ended up splitting into guys and girls once we got there..

Friday: FI works week nights so I finished up the last of my report cards for Monday.
Saturday: We went out to eat with my parents and my sister to celebrate her 25th birthday.
Sunday: We cleaned and prepped for FBIL's graduation party. Started at 9am with the prep and ended at 10:30 pm when we finally finished cleaning after the party.
