I've been lurking on this board but I haven't posted anything. I'm getting married April 28th in Las Vegas- I can't believe how fast it's coming up!

Let's see....

My name is Jess and my awesome fiance is Mike. We decided to get married in Vegas because we both love it there. So we're getting married at the MGM and having an in suite reception. The one absolutely must I had for our wedding, no matter where it was, was to have it outside. So, we're getting married on the gorgeous Terazza. I'm super excited!

Other than that, I'm all about shoes, reading, finishing up my 2nd Bachelor's to go to grad school. Hooray!

That's awesome! I went to Vegas when I was about 10 and it is definitely a wonderful place! I don't think we went to that place, but we stayed at Circus Circus. And I tell ya, it may be dry heat (not the humid heat we have in GA), but it is still HOT! haha

What are you studying? I just finished my BA in history and am starting a paralegal cert. class in a few weeks!

My first BA is in History!! I was going to teach and then realized that I'd be horrible at it. I minored in Psychology, so that's what I'm finishing, and I want to get my Masters in Human Resources. I actually thought about getting my paralegal cert, do you like it?

</div><div>I actually wanted to teach as well, but all the schools around here want math and science, not history, right now and are making a lot of cuts to the history departments. I also felt a calling to something in law. Always thought about being a lawyer, but settling down/having a family soon is important to me and I didn't want to be in law school or spend the tens of thousands on that. </div><div>
</div><div>I haven't started anything as of yet, but I just got an internship at a law firm in Atlanta and I start next week! The certification program starts in February and lasts 8 weeks, so I'll keep you and the other ladies posted on that! I'm about to have no life: working Sunday at a gas station (job since 16), MWF-paralegal training, TR, internship at firm, Sat: OFF! (but will have to run errands, do wedding stuff, see my FI!!)</div><div>
