rehearsal and dinner

How are you ladies handling the rehearsal and dinner?  Did you send out invites/ evites?  If paper invites where did you get them from?

Re: rehearsal and dinner

  • We got a few rehearsal invites from vistaprint. We talked about just sending evites, but we had some extra money left from a vistaprint groupon and decided to get invitations to mail instead.
  • We're sending out invites from Vista Print. It was less than $15.00. Its a great way to get all the information to everyone, and they have a visual reminder of it.

  • I did eVites and I sent them out about 2-3 weeks ago for 8/25.  Ours is pretty informal.

  • We did postcards (the vintage looking ones.)  We'll probably send them out next week for 8/24.

  • Looking at getting them from online. We are just doing a simple rehearsal dinner with pizza and wings at our reception location since we already have it for that evening anyway.
  • We are doing paper ones from vistaprint.  FI's mom is sending them out since she and FI's dad are hosting.  We are sending them out the first week of August.

  • We did a fb invite - I know it's super tacky! But I was over having to address envelopes and sticking on stamps.  Our RD is very casual and will mainly be for just those in the actual wedding.  I'm planning to give the bridesmaids and groomsmen a packet of info a few weeks before at the Hang-Over brunch we're hosting after our bachelor/bachelorette parties.

  • I just finished creating our rehearsal dinner invite using Paperless Post (www.paperlesspost.com). This is the first time I've used the site and it's pretty cool! It looks more like a virtual "invitation" than Evite and best of all, it's free!!

When I created an account, they also gave me 25 coins (which is how you buy things).

Sorry if I sound like a walking (or typing) advertisement but I'm pretty excited to have found it!
