Aside from skipping placebo pills, Can I delay it 1 week?

I'm supposed to get my period on the honeymoon.  Is there a way to push it back 1 week? I'm wondering if I start now if I can change my cycle so that I don't get my period until the week after, instead of the alternative of just not getting my period all together which was posted in the placebo topic.

Oh absoutely, definitely will do! Just curious if anyone has been able to either delay their period or move it up by changing their cycle.

I'm not sure when your getting married but instead of taking 7 placibos I moved mine a week by taking one or two less placibos each month. So the process took a couple months but it worked and I never skipped a period I just shortened the placibo week by 1 or two days.

As always its best to call your Dr and ask them first.

I didn't need to do it, but when I talked to my doctor (which I would ask your doctor about) she said when you stop taking the actual pills it comes, depending on what pill you take, moving the pills around might help.  As Chelsea said you should ask your doc first only because they know you better.

I am not on a normaly 21-7 I'm on a 24-4, so when I first went to my doc she told me to just move it around as I needed to but when I did the calculations I wouldnt get it till I got back.
