What are you doing with your nails?

Random wedding question: What are all of you girls planning to do with your nails for the big day? Clear polish? A colored polish? Fake French tips? Something else?

I just got my first shellac/gel manicure Saturday.... It is awesome!!! No chipping yet. I got the french manicure. The polish is actually supposed to help strengthen your nails too. I paid $65 for spa pedicure with french and the nails as well. So I am definitely planning on doing that for the wedding. I highly recommend it!!!

Which salon did you get that done at Lindsay?

Luxor in Robinson - Settlers Ridge. It's right next to the Barnes and Noble.

I'm going to get a french mani/pedi with the gel nail polish.  I'll either get it the night before or the morning of the wedding.

Lindsay, I've been to Luxor a few times.  I really like it, they do a great job there.

What's the difference between the shellac/gel and regular french mani?

The shellac is supposed to last 2+ weeks without chipping. So it's better than a regular french manicure - which for me always chips within a day or two. It's more expensive, but worth it.

I love the shallac!!  I've gotten that done a few times and it's totally awesome.  I will definitely get that done for my wedding, but I may actually do something different and go for a solid color rather than the french manicure.  They have many different colors you can choose from.  Good luck!  :)
