Does anyone know someone who would be interested in doing makeup on the side for my wedding? I would need them to travel since it's the sunday of memorial day weekend. I'm looking for someone who isn't outrageously priced. I already have 2 hair stylists but they don't do makeup.

    I have two recommendations. The first is Beauty at Your Door and the make-up artist/owner is Donna Puma. She did my sister's wedding and is doing mine on Nov. 11th. She does both airbrush and traditional and I love her and her personality- she makes that part of the day very fun :)

    The other is Makeup by Samar (makeupbysamar@yahoo.com)- she did my make-up for my boudoir shoot and is doing the make-up for my sister's Trash the Dress Shoot and again she was wonderful to work with, willing to travel, well-priced and I loved the results!

    I had my makeup done separately from my hair stylist too. I used Imagine by Carleen. She's a lot cheaper than some of the board favorites, and was willing to travel. I really loved how my makeup came out the day of. When I had my trial, the lipstick was a little too bright for me, so we talked and toned it down. 

    I really like that she has a professional camera which she uses to take pictures during the trial, so you'll know how you photograph!

    Where is your wedding located?  Dana Bartone did my wedding, but she's expensive.  I've also had Julie Bradford do my makeup, and she's AMAZING and one of the coolest people I know.  She's very very very reasonable.  She does both airbrush and regular.  She's based in New Milford, and does travel.  I don't know how far she travels though.  PM me if you'd like her info.
