FI and I got our marriage license yesterday. Woot! I suppose this is the most important check because you can't get married without it. And we save $5 by going yesterday because the fee went up to $50 starting today, as an FYI.
This is all starting to feel a bit more real...

The licenses are good for 90 days right? We are getting married Oct. 2 but were thinking of going to get ours on my birthday in a few weeks since my FI is taking the day off to spend time with me. Just want to make sure it will still be valid.

Yup, they're good for 90 days. It's $50 and you need a photo id and a birth certificate. And if you're divorced or widowed you need to bring proof of that. HTH!

Congrats on the check! I was just asking FSIL who is going in a few days if she knew if BCs were needed. I don't have mine and she is pretty sure that my brother doesn't have his. I better make a phonecall and hunt mine down. I knew this day would come, lol.
