well...they should have shoes for you to try on also...at least places did when i tried my dresses on. But i dont think it really matters because you'll likely have the dress altered anyway...just make sure there's room on the bottom for heel height. if there's too much when you get your final shoes, you can take the length up.

I knew from the getgo I wanted flats. So I pranced around in my barefeet with wedding gowns on.
When you go for your first fitting of your gown then wear the shoes you are wearing on your wedding day.
