Are you getting your parents a gift for helping with the wedding or contributing? If so, what are you getting them, I need some ideas.

shoot, i forgot who it was but they got personalized hankies from etsy for mom, fmil, and grandma. I think it was ro or mrs boss. i'm going to get fmil that and then a gift card to a restaurant to both fmil and ffil.

somebody way back when had a gift that i'd seen on etsy before and re-loved all over again when they posted. it was hankerchiefs with sentimental messages on them. from bride to her parents from bride to his parents, etc. really sweet and tear jerking. part of the reason i thought it was so awesome was cuz by the time I get to the wedding day a daggone hanky is bout all I can afford.

I think it was Princess too, but someone else posted recently about some hankies too...hmmmm.....I can't think who it was though.

(Waving hands) It was me with the hankies! LOL. Those were for mom, FMIL and grandma. I'm working on the gift for FFIL right now. I also plan on creating mixbook photo albums down the road for them.

@Mrs Boss - girl they are out of control! My numbers are actually double that # at this point. FI is now hoping we get less than 125 as our final count. He might be right too!

for FFIL gift IDK - I wanted to get him something he will use. Thankfully the in laws are on the way right now for a 3 day visit with us so I will definitely see what FMIL thinks so we can get that purchased.

Mrsboss- I'm getting fmil AND ffil gift cert to restaurant but ffil loves to fish so i'm going to find an antique lure. (there is a pletheora of them at the antique store by my sons school)

Here is what we are getting our parents:

My dad- personalized handercuff and father of bride shirt
My stepdad- personalized handercuff and father of bride shirt
My mom- mother of bride shirt and personalized bath robe
My stepmother- stepmom of bride shirt

In-laws- father of groom shirt
mom of groom shirt and personalized bath robe

If it was up to me..his parents wouldnt get anything...lol j/k after seeing everybody's it seems like for the moms and grandma's the hankies is whats up !! I still dont know..I still 10 MONTHS to go lol

@footballwife - I used the same seller as MrsAmeera. She was good and I liked her prices. I checked a few other sellers and they were a couple of dollars higher. I would order from her again.

My mom loved it she cried, I had her open her gifts right before FI and I exchange gifts MIL....no idea she didn't open it in front of me and never mentioned it outside of saying thank you. But she's not a sentimental person anyway vs my mom is.
