State Park. Tacky?? help!

Hi everyone!!

I need opinions. So far, wedding planning has been an absolute nightmare, from budget cuts to dresses out of stock etc.... However, I think I found a venue that will fit very nicely in our new budget.

THIS IS MY ISSUE
Is it tacky to have a wedding at a park? It is beautiful, has a river, trees, tons of grass and flowers. I will be bringing in a pole tent, a dance floors, tables, etc. It does have a playground on one side and some relics. Is that weird or better because the kids will have something to do? I am also a bit worried that random people will be coming in and out since it is a a nice park and will be during the summer. Also, no indoor places at all. Just the tent.

Am I worrying to much or will these things be problems?

    The lake-front gazebo we are using has a walking/jogging path that actually crosses the path the WP will take from the nearest building.  The park coordinator said that they have never had a problem with people walking through a ceremony -- observers simply stop at the corner and wait or take a longer route around the building.
