It appears that we got our Christmas influx! I went to bed, woke up and found almost a whole page of new threads. 

 

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year, E-er's! No more threads about how dead this place is, thank you Santa!

    I'm doing famously. I've gotten most of the holiday decor down, just started going through my pro-pics, and am thinking that spaghetti sounds delicious for dinner.

    How are you doing? Lots of New Year's eve plans to prepare for today?

    Your bizarreo date system always confuses me- I was like, where the hell is Fische going until June?!

     

    It's NYE here. H and I are STILL figuring out what to do. I threw a little tantrum yesterday saying I have had enough of sitting around doing nothing on these holidays and want to go and do something... so H is telling me we should go for breakfast and then for a drive to explore somewhere new- which sounds great, but I'm here in my pj's with my laptop being lazy.

     

    I hope you have a fantastic NYE! What have you got on?

    Whoa, sun is from the future!

    I'm just finishing out the day at work before I head to the gym.  Good times.  I am pre-emptively preparing for my NYE dinner at Melting Pot.

    Thanks!  I like my fake flowers.

    Sun: no big plans here.  DH and I will probably just sit home with a bottle of bubbly and watch the NYC ball drop on tv.   Pro pics will be posted as soon as I harass my photog some more.  I'm not pleased at some of the editing.  There are some pics I love but hate that she turned them b&w with color accents.  i've got to try to get the raw copies.

    As of right now, I've got nothing going on. FI wants to go see the new Sherlock Holmes so we may see that this weekend. Other than that, I'm probably going to be a homebody.

    I love them.  I wanted silks because when I spend decent amounts of money money on something, it better last more than an evening.  I think they turned out pretty well and they were actually slightly cheaper than live ones.  Plus they last forever.

    For some reason, that picture of your flowers doesn't look like a real picture to me, Anna (well, I mean, obviously it is a real image, but I mean it doesn't look like a photograph!).

We have until tuesday off (although a party to attend on Sunday), so last night we went out for dinner and I'm insisting on doing something today. We were thinking of seeing Avatar, but I'm not sure how good it's going to be... I think instead H is going to put on some food for dinner in the slow cooker, and we'll go out for breakfast, go to the shops to exchange a few duplicate christmas presents, and then head up to a nearby mountain I've never been to before and maybe go to the planetarium.  </p>

    yeah, that's the effect she added.  Along with random sepia, b&w, vignette, and others.  I'm not overly pleased.  I just tried calling but no answer.  I'd really like the raw shots.
