Can anyone recommend good, reliable catering in New Orleans? Just starting the planning process from OOT. Any advice will help. Thanks!

    I would definitely recommend looking into Pigeon catering and New Orleans Catering, two of the best.

    Capdeboscq Catering.  The food was delicious.  We loved everything.  They have very affordable prices, and you get tons of food for the money.  I posted my vendor reviews a few days ago and listed all of the food we had at our wedding if you want to check it out.

    We chose Capdebosq also. They are an old-school family business. Seriously, they send you the info packet through the actual mail. But the food is good, and the prices cannot be beat. They will even accomodate special requests (we are having 2 sig drinks, wine and Abita bottles rather than full bar and they are allowing us to bring in some other local food as well). Their package includes everything, bar, cakes, apps, entrees...

    I'm using Pigeon Catering.  I didn't try the food, but my mom went to the tasting and she said it was it was amazing.  Leah is great to work with and the prices are very reasonable.

    Also, keep in mind that some venues include food in their packages and will charge a fee for outside catering, if they allow it at all. So, I would first decide on that :)
