a little freak out

FI and I had a meeting with my parents last night about the wedding to-do's that remain.

# 1... the list exceeds 30 items (some are very small but it still makes my head spin)
# 2... between now and July 16th (a little over 5 weeks) I only have 11 days to accomplish everything.  YIKES!

We had my best friend's bachelorette weekend at the beach this past weekend, and it was such a blast!  But then when I came back home to reality it got a little overwhelming.  I'll be glad when my bachelorette weekend comes on July 9th, because by then the to-do list has to be completed!

Here's the advice I got during my pre-wedding freak out!
    1) If there is anything that is non-essential, push those items farther down on your to-do list and don't be sad if they don't get completed.  There are some things that are nice to do - like bathroom baskets, for example, but that no one will notice if they aren't there
    2) Whatever you do, don't ADD things to your list.  I kept thinking, well, it'd be nice if I could embellish the programs more, or do this or that, but it was making me crazy.  Stick to your to-do list and do not add to the crazy.
    3) When you just get completely overwhelmed, don't hesitate to reach out to those around you. I even had a few knotties offering to help with things last minute!
    4) When all else fails to calm things down, a little wine never hurt anyone :)

Thanks Tiff! Ahhhh... to add to it, we have to change our band due to expenses, with a little only a month left.  Talk about hechtic!

Deep breaths!  Take it one day at a time!
I can relate-I'm 4 months out and I have gotten like no sleep lately because I lie in bed worrying and thinking about everything I need to do!  Stay calm!

I'm sure I will hit this point as well.  I hope I can take everyone's advice when its my turn to freak out.  Just remember to stay calm and whatever doesn't get done, no one will notice but you.  If there is anything we can help you do, just ask!

I just hit my (a little less than) 4 month mark, and I'm starting with the anxiety already!  It's weird how i felt like i had all this time and was way ahead, and all of the sudden...it sneaks up on you. I know it'll only get worse, but you know what... everything will work out perfectly b/c we're marrying the person we love :-)  (I'm trying to keep myself in check by repeating that in my head, haha)

Ok, don't panic!  I agree with everything Tiffany said.  Hang in there and let me know if I can do anything to help out!
