.... minus only five or six people. I was definitely hoping for significantly less. I was hoping not so many people would show up so I could splurge on some extra food for the cocktail hour. Oh well, I'm still happy that so many people want to share our day! I just gotta pick up some extra printer ink for all these programs

I know the feeling! It's exciting to know that all these people care about you and are coming but it's a bit overwhelming!.. We invited 180 and 225 are coming!.. I was kind of shocked myself!.. enjoy you day, it will be a blast!! :-)

We invited about 92 and will be ending up with about 77. Our goal number was at 75 so I'm very happy.

Personally, I'm over the thinly veiled excuses. Just tell me the truth so I can know not to bother with you in the future....

Today I am at 95. I really am hoping it stops around 110. I think that is just wishful thinking on my part though.

I agree with the excuses, I honestly dont need to hear them, I just need a yes or a no. I had one person who I've known for 10 years say she couldnt go because she was moving that weekend, yet she posted on facebook last weekend that she was all settled into her new place....

We have 31 of 35 coming. Which is tiny compared to all of yours, but ours is a DW and the shortest anyone is traveling is a 3-hour flight. It's amazing that many people are coming - we expected half to come!

I don't like excuses either, but none of the ones that I had were excuses. One family can't get off of work, and told me so as soon as possible. One of FI's friends can't get off of work for the reception, but is coming to the ceremony. The person that is singing might need to have back surgery so isn't sure if he can come to the reception. He is a close family friend. Everyone, at least IMO, had good reasons not to be able to make it, except for the couple that I just gave a $100 to between their recent shower and wedding now say they are too broke to come... bull $hit!
