How are you enjoying your engagement??

I feel like I am so busy/crazy planning this wedding, I have not really had a chance to experience being engaged! What are you doing to enjoy being engaged?
I am like a falling star who has finally found her place next to another in a lovely constellation, where we will sparkle in the heavens forever

    Hmmm... that's a great question. and I'm not really sure. I'm kind of enjoying just looking things up and coming to decisions with FI. But we're planning a road trip to Alaska this summer to go visit his mom... so that's something we're are both definitely looking forward to!

    I was in the beginning, but its been a long time since it was fun.  Its nice when its just FI and I talking about how excited we are for the day and to be married, but all the planning and waiting for it be over is NOT.

    i am enjoying being engaged.. but i'm READY to be married. my day is coming up fast and I can't believe its almost here. :) 15 days girls!

    We adopted a puppy back in May, so he has been a bit of a distraction from the wedding planning.  We've been enjoying having an addition to our family.

    FI and I also try to have 1 date night a week, where we go out.  Either to the movies, dinner, etc, just the two of us.

    I also try to keep wedding planning talks with FI to Wednesdays (I call them Wedding Wednesdays).  That way life isn't just about the wedding.  But we still have 10 months to go, I imagine things will become more hectic as time goes on.

    I LOVE being engaged. We are studying for the bar right now, which is horrible, so I am not enjoying that but I love the engagement part. We had 2 engagement parties (one east coast and one west) which were great and I love looking down at that ring and knowing what it means. I am super in love and am just really enjoying this time, I am not even dying for the wedding or going insane wedding planning (which I totally thought I would!)

    I am loving being engaged but I cannot wait to be married!  I've been a little stressed lately with some other things going on so the wedding planning has been a bit of a diversion from blechy life stuffs.

    HAHA good questions- next month it'll be a year since we got engaged and we're just now setting a date and gettting the ball rolling. It's been a crazy year, so didn't have time to enjoy it.
