rehearsal dress?

So has anyone picked out what they are wearing for the rehearsal? Short? Long? Formal? Casual? If so what's the fomality of the rehearsal dinner you're having? Since I can't wear my shoes that I had dyed blue like my BM dresses I thought about seeing if I can find a dress to wear with them for the rehearsal so they don't go to waste. I don't want to wear white and the only other option is picking a dress the same color my BMs will wear for the wedding. Will that be weird?

We're having a pretty casual rehearsal with pizza and beer in the church common room afterwards (well the beer will be in the pastors backyard to get around the no-alcohol-in-church rule). I'll probably end up wearing dressy jeans and a cute top.

I'm starting to think about what to wear for the shower, that will be more fancy.

We are wearing these (clicky). Granted they're out of stock right now but I'm going to start stalking Think Geek until they come back and we can order them. We'll have to see how observant our wedding party is! lol

Edit: I noticed the grammar error and couldn't help but fix it.

No, I dont think that would be weird at all. I might be doing the same thing...but I also would like to wear white. I am going to be very casual, we are having a BBQ over my parents after we do the rehersal.

We are having our rehearsal dinner in a different room at our venue. You are not allowed to wear jeans at the venue at all so it will not be casual but not overly formal. I would really like to wear a kimono dress kinda like THIS. I also have a dream of pairing them with a kickass pair of brown knee high boots.

Could you pair those shoes with a little black dress or a dress in a complimentary color? you don't necessarily have to wear the same color dress as your shoes, unless you really want to.

I think I'm just going to wear a cute floral dress I already have. I don't feel like spending more on attire just for this event! ha We are having our rehearsal dinner at a fun Mexican restaurant that is local. The decor is pretty gawdy, but it will be fun! Much more relaxed than our wedding location, which will be good for my family.

We're doing pizza and beer for dinner, but the rehearsal will be at our church. I'm pretty traditional about church gear, I don't feel comfortable wearing jeans there. So I'll probably wear a casual dress .

I keep going back and forth about buying a rehearsal dress. And I'm deciding on a dress for engagement pics right now too (e-pics are June 11). I hate buying a dress for just one occasion, so maybe I'll buy one that I can use for both of these occassions or that I know I will definitely wear again.

I bought a dress from Forever 21 not all that long ago, but long enough ago that they don't have it online anymore. But it's cute, it's like a light gray/beige with a ruffled top. It's knee-length or so, and I will probably wear tights and boots, depending on the weather.

I ended up buying a short wedding dress for the rehearsal dinner. It has ruching which I love but didn't go with for my wedding dress. I don't care if I'm fancier than I should be, I want to wear it.
