Questions for Dayton Brides :)

I have a few questions:

Who did you use for your hair/makeup? Im still trying to decide between going to the salon to get it done or having them come to me.

Where did you rent your chairs from? The place we are getting our tent from doesn't do chair rentals. The cheapest I have found for white garden chairs is $2.40

I wanted a makeup artist that would come to me the day of the wedding and I was unable to find anyone in Dayton to do it. So I ended up booking Michelle Marx out of Cincinnati. She does regular OR airbrush makeup and she does hair too. I have had 2 trials with her and she does a fantastic job. She doesnt mind coming to Dayton, you just have to pay gas.

As far as rentals, I cant help you b/c our venue handles all of that for us. But I can tell you that after we figured up the costs for chair or chair cover rentals, we decided it wasnt worth it!

    good luck!

I also used Michelle Marx. She was fabulous.

Our venue had chairs as well so I can't help with that one.

I used Michelle Marx as well she was great.  I used Prime Time party rentals for my chairs.

We haven't decided on a rental company yet, but we've looked at Prime Time, Kosins, and Finch Rental.

I will be getting my hair done at SquareOne salon downtown (there is also a Centerville location).  This is where I normally go for my hair (Tessa is who I'm using, but everyone is great), and they have a room that me and my girls can take over and bring in food/drinks and stuff.  I think it will be fun!

I'm doing all my rentals through PrimeTime.  They have a "shop" in Moraine off dorothy lane where you can go in and check everything out.  I think their garden chairs are around $2 something.  Isn't it incredible how much everything wedding related costs!?

Prime Time is great for rentals.  We have a small house, and we throw an annual Fourth of July party.  We rent tables and chairs from them.  We also rented tables and chairs for Christmas this year.
