Marriage License in JeffCo

Is it safe for us to wait until the Monday before our wedding to get our marriage license in Jefferson County?  Will we just wait there and get it that day?  Or will we need to go back and pick it up, or have them mail it?  Thanks!

    you have to file your license with in 30 days of your marriage

    so, you'll be fine!!!!!!!!!

    we got our marriage license in Arapahoe County & they just printed it up for us right then & there while we waited.  They gave us all the instructions & then our officiant just mailed it back in for us. 

    I think you are fine to wait until the Monday before your wedding.  We got married on a Sunday and went & got our license on the Wednesday prior! :)

    Sounds like you are very close to your wedding day...early congrats!
