Artistic Imagery- Bensalem PA

Hello All,

I am having the hardest time deciding on a photographer. I have met with some indivdual photographers, and I have met with some places that have many photographers. I recently met with Artistic Imagery and I am just wondering if anyone has used them or heard anything about them.

Thanks in advance

Word on the street is that the individual photographer you use from thm seems to make a huge difference.  I have a friend who used Beth and adored the photos.  You may want to page Amerbutt, who had someone else and wasn't pleased with the result.  She can definitely give you the low-down :)

I just booked my photographer, and while it wasn't AI, they were one of the 5 I met with. They seem reasonable enough price-wise, but the thing that bothered me was that you aren't able to meet with YOUR photographer until about 60 days before your wedding, and that's after you've already put down your deposit. The guy we met with was really nice though, and he was able to show us photos shot by the photographers we were interested in.

I was not thrilled with my experience.

    1. I was unaware they assigned you a photographer and you didn't meet with them until a couple weeks before the wedding.  All the pictures I was shown were done by Beth and I was under the assumption she was the only photographer (because I ws never told otherwise).  I was never shown work by the photographer I ultimately was assigned. I had to Google her to figure out who the hell she was.

    2.  Although our photographer was very nice, the quality of her pictures where not what I was shown, and that's what I am most upset about.  I felt like I paid X amount of money and was not give the product I expected.

    3.  We were placed in very awkward poses, which included me with my hand in my husband's belt (not something I would normally do in public) and my husbands monster sized hands around my neck--which the board fondly refers to as the "choke-a-biitch" picture.

    4. I hired two photographers because I speficially wanted to capture those special "unseen moments" during the ceremony-- especially with my niece (the flower girl).  Neither photographer really did that, and instead of I have 29493874982794729 pictures of the same thing over and over again from two different angles.  Thank goodness my sister-in-law was on hand to capture the moment of my neice picking the bugs off my train.

    5. The photographer never cleaned the lense of her camera and I had a peice of dirt/dust over all of our ceremony pictures-- and some of them went over my husband's face.

    6.  I missed a huge chunk of my reception because the photographers kept pulling us out for more pictures.

    7.  They screwed up my album cover.  I has asked that instead of having our names and the date written as "July 17, 2010" if we could just have the words "seven. seventeen. ten" engraved.  They agreed, but when I got the album it had our names and the date written incorrectly.  I know that sounds nitpicky, but after everything else I dealt with, it was like the final straw.

Adding on to what LRM said, I have heard Beth is fantastic.  If somehow you can get Beth as your photographer, you might be pleased with the outcome.  The bottom line is they are a budget photographer and you are going to get what you pay for.   I, was not happy with the product I received, and honestly, if  I could do it all over again, I would have paid the same amount for Mike Landis, but without an album.  I have looked at our album twice, and to me it would have been worth it to get it later for a better quality photographer.

It depends on which package you choose with them. I have already had my engagement photo session done with them and I just wanted to say my pictures came out wonderful..and trust me I am no model. They are very artistic and non traditional. I def liked that about them. My friends have also used them and have gotten great albums.
