Spanish songs? Please help!!

 I posted this under the Music board too, but thought my local board might help me out also. :) My FI's family is hispanic and, although he doesn't speak Spanish, I want some good Spanish songs for the family members who do. His Mother is even paying for Mariachi's to play through dinner! I welcome any and all advise, also we'd like to find a nice Mother/Son dance song in Spanish. Thank you!

    Good spanish songs to play at wedding reception:

    It depends on which type of music
    For cumbias: Fito Olivares and Los Tgrillos
    For rancheras: Cardenales de Nuevo Leon and Cadetes de Linares
    For salsa: Marc Anthony
    For tejano: Roberto Pulido and Intocable
    For romantic ballads: Franco de Vita and Chayanne
    For reggaeton: Don Omar, Daddy Yankee, Ivy Queen
    For drunken songs: Jenni Rivera, Lupillo Rivera, Ramon Ayala

    For mariachis, Vicente Fernadez is the best of the best.
    Example of his songs: El Rey, Mexico Lindo y Querido, Aca entre nos, Yo quiero saber de ti, tu camino y el mio, La Misma, Estos celos.

    Romantic Spanish songs:  Luis Miguel is the King of this for sure...think Frank Sinatra/Michael Buble

    Jennifer Lopez and her husband Marc Anthony have lots of songs.  For upbeat.. try Gloria Esteban.  I know these are more cuban and puerto rica type songs.. but I think they will keep the party lively.
