Ceremony Readings for Grandparents

I'm looking for two ceremony readings for my FI's grandparents to read. One will be read by his maternal grandmother and the other by his paternal grandmother. Both of them have been married to their husbands for over 50 years (over 100 years of marriage combined)! We really want to highlight the longevity of their marriages by having them do readings at the ceremony. Any ideas of readings that would be appropriate for grandparents?

Are you looking for biblical readings?  Poems?

You could always ask them to pick a reading of their choice that is about love and/or marriage, and see what they come up with.  Then it would be something that is important to them and that they think would be relevant to "pass on" knowledge to you.
  • I was thinking more poems or literature. I've tried asking them, but they couldn't come up with anything off the top of their heads, so I was hoping to present them with some ideas and have them pick their favorite.
