Invites are printed! Now how do I put it all together?

So, I printed my invies on white cardstock (linen style), and have an envelope for it. I will also be enclosing an RSVP card and envelop. How should i put these in the envelope, and what can I do (BUDGET/ Classy) to sort of hold it all together...tie a ribbon?

Any suggestions? I have about 75 invitations to send.

Any pics/suggestions would be appreciated!

  • If you want to buy some more cardstock, you could do belly bands to hold everything together. I think that looks a little more put together than ribbon, but ribbon is also an alternative. Keep in mind that knots or bows can often add a significant bump to the envelope which increases postage.

As far as how to assemble, tuck the RSVP card under the envelope flap - don't stuff it. Put that on top of the invite if you choose to use a belly band/ribbon. If you don't use something to hold them together (which is not at all necessary, and does not add to formality whatsoever) put the RSVP envelope/card behind the invite, and put that all in the outer envelope.
