$2K for a DOC??? Is ridiculous! What part of SC? I have a girlfriend who lives in Atlanta but is from SC and is a WP. She would do it I'm sure.

This search for a wedding planner has not been easy the first person said 100,000 minuim anther
one said 50,000 minium i think they are on crack wth!
so im waiting on quotes from four other people

We do offer day of services for $2100. This will include the following:

Vendor Scheduling and Coordination
Setup and Breakdown
Ceremony and Rehearsal Direction
Backup Rain Planning, Scheduling & Coordination

A lot of brides also decide they want us to handle the decor aspect as well. That will be priced at 18% of your design budget. If there is anything else that you would want us to handle then that can be included in the pricing as well.

The economy is bad...I guess everyone needs to get paid teh best way they can. With that being said I got creative with my wedding planner. This girl at my job that just got married in July is thinking about getting into the business. So she actually just planned another wedding and I went to it and she did a great job. So I am using her and my wedding planner and day of coordinator. She is doing it pro bono of course but I am going to give her a little something something. Intially I had a momentary laspe in judgement and I thought I was going to let me aunt do it.....then I put the crack pipe downa nd so NO TO ANY FAMILY MEMBERS IN POSITIONS OF LEADERSHIP...My family is very controlling and their ideas will be there on the wedding day and not mine. So maybe you can find someone that you know that is very organized and likes weddings and talk to them and see what they say. There are plenty of checklists on the internet for both the day of coordinator and the wedding planner, so it might work for you.
