We picked out the tuxes on Saturday. I really need to start on addressing the invitations. I need them ready to be mailed by this Friday. I have one done so far lol

Got a couple centerpieces for the wedding this weekend at a flea market. So much fun. Meant to get invitations out, but it didn't happen. So that's the plan for the week. Happy planning everyone!

I didn't really do anything WR over the weekend. I wrote about my dress shopping experience last week in the Friday post but it got eaten. Basically, I fell in love with a dress but there's another dress I fell in love with online that the store didn't have. I'm going to a different store today to try that one on and then I will most likely choose between the two of them. I have pictures of the one I already tried on, and I hope to be able to take some of the ones today so I can post here and you ladies can help me choose! The dresses are similar and they are both by the same designer, but they're different enough that I just need to try them both on. Plus the one I'm trying on today is a little bit cheaper, so definitely worth looking at!

I'm hoping FI gets Pre Cana scheduled this week. Since he's the one who wants to get married in the church, I put him in charge of doing all that. I was getting annoyed with him about not getting it done, but at this point, I kinda feel like, oh well... if he doesn't get it done, we'll do the ceremony at the venue and he won't be able to get upset about it.

Also, I've lost an inch everywhere between January when I went bridesmaids dress shopping for a friend's wedding and last week when I tried on wedding dresses, so that was cool! I may lose another inch or two off my waist and hips, because while I'm not looking for weight loss, I'm definitely going to be working out to tone up, so we'll see what happens. My chest measurement will likely stay as is. I was actually surprised to have lost an inch there but it's from my back/sides... not my boobs.

Last week I went dress shopping. I fell in love with a dress, but there's another dress that I fell in love with online and the store didn't have it. I went dress shopping for my mom this weekend and she found a dress. Very exciting, even if it's not really one of my checks.

This week I"m going to start purchasing my centerpiece decor so I can make sure it's really what I want to do. Also, sent in the florist deposit and booked my make-up person. Yay for getting things done.

Its Birthday week

I got home last night from Barcelona- Very long flight and then train and then car- But home at last

This week I have on wednesday- My birthday and FI only day off in the week so we get to spend the day together

WR- I am going to finalize my florist and I hope to get FI out to try on tuxes

I got a bunch of call from people who received the STDs Yay! I ordered my slip and some brooches from ebay for my bouquet. This week I want to finish my Reserved seating signs, and if my vistaprint order come start on my aisle runner.

Last friday I mailed in the deposit to the florist, picked out tuxes, and shopped for wedding rings. I think we both know what rings we're getting, but we want to wait until May to buy in case they have a Mother's Day sale. Sunday I booked the menu tasting, that's next thursday (which coincidentally will be exactly 6 months until the wedding)!

This week I hope to book the RD, and saturday I'm taking my girls BM dress shopping.

@Colleen - enjoy your birthday! And congrats everyone on their checks! We were a productive group this weekend :-)
