New to the knot!

Hi to my fellow knotties in south florida. My name is Nicole and I got engaged to a wonderful man on my birthday on 7-30-10.  We have been on a lot of vacations this past month and now the wedding stuff will begin. My fiance wants to get married on 11-12-11 or 11-11-11. We have both decided on a autumn theme since we will get married in November.  I was wondering if you guys might know any inexpensive venue in palm beach.  Also do you guys have any ideas for centerpiece. I guess I am not a ordinary girl. I always thought I would get married but never thought about the details. I guess I just want to show up..lol

    Welcome! People are very helpful here! Unfortunately I don't know about venues in palm beach. As for centerpieces, do you have a theme? Have you chosen your colors? Decide on the big picture, then go from there to work on the small things. Good luck, and congrats!!

    I'm a Palm Beach County bride....congrats on your engagement!  11-11-11 would be AWESOME!  I'm a 10.10.10 bride at the Boca Raton Marriott.

    Are you looking for a hotel, banquet hall, country club? how many guests?  give us more details of what you would like!  :)

    Congrats and welcome! Im with Dee. Im getting married at the Boca Renaissance on 10-10-10. They have been super helpful and easy to work with. They worked into our budget.
    Once we find out what you are looking for, the girls here will be super willing and able to help.

    We are thinking about having a autumn theme wedding. Colors would be deep red, orange, and yellow, with fall leaves. We will probably have around 120  close friends and family attend our wedding. We both have big families. My fiance is 1 out of 10 kids. We have set a budget to be between 10k and 15k. Hope fully we can stay in that price range. We looked into benvenuto yesterday and their package deals were okay. We are looking for a place where we can have our ceremony and reception that includes catering, open bar, cocktail hour, and maybe table linen and chair cover. We were thinking out having a lunch time wedding between noon and 5pm.

    Benvenuto is a nice place....I looked at that too.  We also looked at Boca Dunes...they are all-inclusive. 
    Here are some ideas:

    Country clubs: Presidents Country Club, Breakers West, PGA National, Frenchman's Reserve, Mizner Country Club

    Hotels: Palm Beach Hilton, Boca Raton Reinassance, Boca Raton Marriott, Delray Beach Marriott, Boca Raton Hotel

    I'm a Palm Beach Bride also.  Danielle (Dee729) covered all of the PB venues I know of!  I'm getting married at the Frenchman's Reserve Country Club.  Happy Planning!

    Welcome...You can try to google your theme for ideas..also check out orientaltrading.com they have a bunch of things for autumn weddings (i was looking at them yesterday lol) Happy planning!
