dj's

I have read lots of things about dj's on this board but still have questions? What do you think is a reasonable price for a 4 hr reception in Tampa and has anyone worked with Robb Smith? TIA!

We are paying just over $800 for ours, but that includes a special equipment setup and he is doing some music for our ceremony as well. I would imagine you could probably find someone in the $500-$600 range for the amount of time you want. I haven't heard of that DJ, we are using RJ Vida who I'm absolutely thrilled about, I've also heard good things about DJ Felix and some of the DJs from Grant Hemond. Rob Sword has gotten many good reviews but we had a negative experience when trying to book him, but it all worked out since I like RJ even better. :)

We're using Rob Sword and paying $650 for a 4 hour reception, plus 10 cans of colored uplights. He gets great reviews, you should check him out! And he gives a discount to knotties!

I think anywhere between $600-800 is a good price.

I think for 4 hours DJ Felix is $950... We are also going with RJ Vida and we're excited about it!

We're using Rob Sword too.  He's doing ours for $750 for 6 hours (including the ceremony & cocktail hour.  He loves Knotties!  He seems so professional.
