Sorry I've been MIA all afternoon, I was at the police station.
So after work DH and I were headed to my moms house. It was 3 pm and we were stuck in traffic next to an elementary school. This guy comes out of no where and cuts us off so DH beeps the horn at him. All of the sudden he jumps out of the car and starts trying to open the door which was locked. Then he started banging on the window. All the while he's screaming and cursing and trying to get DH to get out of the car and fight. He runs back in his car so I thought it was over but he runs back out and does it again. This happens 3 times. And then he sped off. I was able to take a photo of his plate with my phone so I called 911. They told me to come in and file a report. The cops said there is nothing they can really do except document the complaint. If it were to happen to someone else or if he were to harass us again then they could take action. Although I didn't get a name I overheard the address when they were running the plates. It's on my friend's block. She said he's a known problem and a prescription pills addict.
I'm still shaken up about it. I'm kind of frustrated that nothing can be done.
Thanks for listening to my rant/vent.
Re: Scary Encounter Today
[QUOTE]So sorry! Was there any damage to the car??

No there wasn't. I almost wish there was so they could get him on destruction of property.
[QUOTE]I am glad you are okay. I am also glad that you filed a report. Even though it couldn't help you, it may help someone down the line - and from the sounds of it, soon and before anyone is hurt.

I agree with this. This story could have had a really horrible ending. Thank God everyone is ok.

The other day my friend was driving through the downtown area of our town and a man threw a garbage can at her car and called her a derogatory name. Nothing happened to her car, but she's scared it's going to happen again.
This is why I always lock my car doors! Hope you're okay though, that had to be so scary!
[QUOTE]Thanks for the love ladies. I'm very proud of DH for not getting out of the car like he wanted to do. He thought twice about it and realized it would be worse. The guy was lucky I wasn't driving because I was so scared I would have run him over, which the cops said would have been completely ok.

Speaking of guns, good thing he didn't have one in his car! Glad you're okay hoboken!
That's why the very first thing I do when I get into my car is the lock the door. My fiance thinks I'm crazy but you really never know...
