Hello CT Brides!

Hello!

I am relatively new to posting, although I have been a member since less than 12 hours after my engagement last August! :)   I just wanted to hear from other CT brides about how planning is going!  I'm getting married 2/19 at Saint Clements.  I am so excited!! :)

    Hey guys I thought I'd pipe in, I am new as well and got engaged in April.  I'm getting married 9/3/11 at the Branford House in Groton.  Looking forward to getting to know you all!  :)

    Cool!  Yes the Branford house is very popular...9/3/11 was the only Saturday left next summer when I booked a few weeks ago!  It's just a beautiful place, I'm sure any wedding there is very special, I will await your review with anticipation!

    St. Clements Castle is a banquet hall/estate in Portland (central CT right on the CT River)...very popular for proms and weddings, it's gorgeous!

    And congrats to the original poster on your engagement, welcome to the CT boards!

    We are meeting with our first officiant tomorrow!  He sounds pretty awesome, but he is the first person we have contacted!  This is such a huge thing! oh my goodness...this makes it so real! :)  I'll let you know how Reverend Steve is! Laughing

    We LOVED Reverend Steve!! Checked that off the list of things to do!! We also finally agreed on our photographer!!  9 months to go and things are really coming along! :)  SO EXCITING!
