I know just about everyone on here says to go with something edible-candy, chocolate, etc. However, majority of my family is diabetic, FI also has a few family members who are. I think it's way too much hassle to find regular and sugar free everything, and what if I am way off and have too much of one but not the other. What if the kids swap things around and Grandpa gets a sugar overdose.
So, since day one of the wedding planning I've wanted aqua colored matte finish ornaments(aqua blue and chocolate brown are the colors-december wedding). We were going to write on each of them with brown and that way when guests go home they could put their favor directly on the tree. Not in the trash or buried in a junk drawer, this thought was practical(to me!). Most of my family members and friends don't color coordinate their trees, they are collections from over the years. The dilemma-I can't find these type/color ornaments ANYWHERE! I've googled, shopped, searched, asked-and nothing adequate ever came of it.
I was so dead set on this that every other option I come up with seems cruddy, wasteful, and outright dumb. So other than expensive bottles of wine, candy that most won't be able to eat, and this ornament idea that hasn't gone anywhere, does anyone have any suggestions??

Just skip the favors or do something edible

You could even use them as escort cards to serve double duty.
I went to a NYE wedding and the bride hung small ornaments from each of the wine glasses at the table. It was a simple but elegant table decoration.
Try googling ornament wedding favors and see if anything reasonably priced pops up.
I love the idea of ornaments. We are having a winter themed wedding and thought about giving out ornaments as well.

Anyway, if you want ornaments, try etsy or you can go the DIY route at Michaels or AC Moore.
[QUOTE]Your idea for doing ornaments is wonderful! Your wedding is at just the right time of year for that and a special ornament made for your wedding would be one of the few wedding keepsakes that guests will actually keep! There are a few good links in the responses you have all ready received. If you are not the crafty type but want something designed especially for your event, please contact me about my favor services. ( www.majestystudios.com) . I'm an artist and designer and can work up ideas for your ornaments incorporating fabric, clay, wood, paper, wire, beads and more. You have a beautiful color scheme and you should not compromise on your vision! Also remember: Color scheme IS important, but your ornaments can be a plain, classic white, silver or gold...just make sure their PACKAGING goes with your theme, which can be done with the right color ribbon. People remembering your wedding day is more important than them remembering what the color theme of the day was.

Majesty - if you review the terms of service you agreed to when you joined the knot you will recall that vendors are not allowed to post here. I have reported your post.
And about the religion post, yes I am 100% positive everyone coming celebrates Christmas. That was confirmed by FMIL when I tossed the idea at her months ago.
Thanks again everyone!!
