Good Morning! What do you have to AW about today?

Getting lots of stuff done on my vacation. I ordered and picked up my wedding band (love it with my engagement ring). Made two appointments for cake tastings, emailed the caterer and picked a date to do a 2nd tasting (which she informed me they normally "dont do" ) to finalize the menu, and thanks to a fellow knottie ordered 5 personalized hangers on etsy for a bargain price of 4.99!

Going to get a chemical peel in a few hours to try to balance out my uneven skin tone before the wedding...and i'm terrified. burning my face off seems like a terrible idea now

Just received our invitations we ordered in the mail!!!! They turned out perfectly!!! I am going to buy those hangers also as soon as I am done work!! That etsy shop has a ton of cheap hangers!!! I have finally decided on a hair style for our wedding!!! I haven't picked out shoes yet because I can't decide which shoes I want so that will be this weekends item to check off!!

Yay! I'm glad everyone is liking those hangers!!!

I am going to AW about all the fantastic deals I've been finding! I got 90 candle votives for $30, personalized hangers (7 of them) for $4.99 a piece, and last night I got my flower girl basket for $4.49 and a set of 4 tea cups for $6.49 (cashier charged me for one, not 4)!!! I even questioned the cashier about it and she said it was correct! I looked online last night and couldn't believe they dropped so much, and she was not correct. Oh, well... works for me! She even handed me back my 10% off coupon and said to keep using it until it expires! I sure do love World Market! My mom has been trying to find tea cups for the bridal shower so this will finish it off! It is at a tea room and it's kentucky derby themed, big hats for everyone! She wants to put tiny roses in the tea cups and she got a couple of tea pots to put flowers in and the tea pots will be prizes for any games! And she bought a ton of white teacup/teapot salt and pepper shakers from Pier 1 as prizes! Ahhh I can't wait until May now!

I will also AW that I will be paying off my dress in full at lunch today! And possibly going to the post office to weigh my invitation sample! That will determine if I buy them or not.

We picked a different invitation and I did a mock-up on VistaPrint. I just have to keep updating it to make sure it doesn't get deleted and have my FI look over it (plus we need to move so I can update our address before we order).

I booked our tasting appointment. We figure out ALL the details at this tasting (including cake) so it's going to take us three hours. I also booked our appointment with the florist for that morning to take advantage of my vacation day and get as much stuff done.

I am nearly done with our Save the Dates. Only a few more to go! I also ordered our guest book off Groupon (and a few other things that I had Groupons for). I updated our website to include links to our registry. Oh yeah, we started our registrys. We're about halfway done at this point.

Oh and I did my taxes. I feel like I still have SO much to do but I've been more productive than any other week. Sigh.

I had ordered our STD and invitations but now I am almost down with addressing them. Just waiting on a few more addresses from FMIL. Now I'm trying to decide what I want the guys to wear and which dress for my flower girls. I got a great deal on our table cloths also. Now if only I could decide the way I'd like the set the tables up.

NWR: We finally have a closing date !! So will will be moving soon. We also have our first chance at snow tonight. So I am overly excited about that as it hardly snows here.

My FI finally contacted the band we want for our wedding and they are doing it. :-) We're having a bluegrass band for our barn reception. In between sets we're building a playlist on our phones or iphone. I'm super pumped now. Hopefully the guests will appreciate it despite bluegrass not being everyone's favorite. They are more modern bluegrass ala Avett Brothers and Mumford & Sons.

I just ordered a personalized hanger. Yay!

One of my co-workers daughters recently got married and handmade all of her decorations. She used chinese lanterns and glued rolled coffee filters in both white and recycled brown all over them to form a flower look. I'm getting 12 of them from her to decorate with at the reception. I'm pumped. They look similiar to this:

I also figured out what we're doing for wedding favors!! We're making mason jar shaped cookies and icing "Having a Ball S+J 9/28/13" on them. They'll look similiar to this:

Did a lot of shopping this morning got the cake topper, ring bearer pillow and the personalized hangers for me and my flower girls the bridemaids didn't want them and made an appointment to finalized the reception site so I'm picking out the linens and all the decorations for the outside patio that comes with the room.
