Do you have to have them ?? Seems like money down the drain. I would rather spend it on better food and wine...

Nope. In hindsight, I would have done something small and edible, or just skipped them.

No you don't have to do them. If you have it in your budget after all the major things have been paid for it can be a nice way to thank everyone again for coming and taking the time especially if there is travel involved.

Again not all all necessary!

That's what the entire reception is for. You've already spent money on each person, why do you need to throw in another $2 trinket? I'd rather you put that money towards better food, alcohol, or time with the band/dj.

Nobody is going to look back and say "Ya know, great wedding. But I really missed that tulle sack of M&Ms!"

Skip it. We are doing favors, only because we came up with a REALLY cheap idea that actually ties our whole wedding together! So its more to add to the atmospher of the reception then to just spend a couple bucks on people.

We're doing a candy bar as a favor.

I think any favors that aren't edible are a waste because no one needs/wants some random trinket!

So I say, no favors unless its food...

We did 1/4 size bottles of homemade wine as our favors. Who doesnt like free alcohol

I am having a photobooth. They give an extra copy of the pictures to the guest. I think I am just using that as their favor. I am also doing flip flops for the girls. I think that is plenty.
