Things that make me happy

Meeting with a new photographer who is wonderful and available for my wedding, that is 24 days away! Nothing like last minute surprises! 

Coming home to a FI who has washed the dishes, cleaned out the garage, and given the dog a bath. Then says I don't see any acne on your face, what are talking about? When I complain that my complexion looks like that of a teenager. (He could be pretending but I'll take it). 

Oh, and my sister gave us her bedroom suite. I heart hand me downs, especially because we have nothing that matches in our house right and we can't afford to get anything yet. 

What makes you happy? (I know we are all really stressed right now but its the little things that are keeping me sane right now)

    I came home on Saturday after driving 8 hours in less than 24 to pick up my dress and when I walked in the door FI has cleaned our entire apartment, so we could completely focus on wedding tasks for the rest of the weekend. It really is the little things keeping me going right now!

    1. My observation during first period went swimmingly
    2. I ordered my rehearsal dinner dress (and it is so pretty!  clicky!)
    3. WE GOT TICKETS TO SEE THE TRAGICALLY HIP IN CLEVELAND.  Ahem. Sorry. Super-excited.
    4. Drive-by house-hunting with FI.
    5. Work shower this afternoon!

    I too met with a new photographer yesterday (and my wedding is Saturday) - fortunately it went well. I finished writing my love letter to my future husband for our wine ceremony. We bottled our own wine to use in the ceremony last night. We are going to the venue today to drop off all of our reception "stuff" which gets it out of my living room. On top of all that, I get to wear my mother's wedding ring, use my grandmother's shawl and use my great-grandmother's antique cake plate! AND... in three days I get to marry the love of my life! Life is good.

    It's October 2012.  Seriously.  We got engaged in Aug. of 2008.  I truly felt like this day would never ever come.  it was so so far away.  Now it's just 24 days.  wow.  just knowing it's so close makes me so happy

    our to-do list is pretty short! 

    FI "bachelor party" is Saturday.  it's just golfing and camping, but I know he is excited and I'm happy for him.

    Dress fitting on Friday.  SO excited :)

    1) FI came home last night!!!!!!!!!!!!! (in Air Force stationed in NM for right now, though is at his parents house right now)
    2) Got ALL my DIYs done, I really did not think this was going to happen
    3) I'm an soooo glad I took today off, its so nice to relax a bit before the wedding
    4) I'm getting MARRIED in 2 days! Wow, just wow!

    Getting married on Saturday! FI and I have been spending time chilling out, not talking about the wedding and it's great. I have a very small list of things to do before Friday!
    It doesn't have to be perfect to be everything I want!
