There is a place right off rt 51 up behind Kmart. I can't find the name of the place. It's a really nice place.

Also, I know it is further down in the south hills but if you having a wedding with a guest list under 150, Century Inn B&B in Scenery Hill (10 mins south of washington pa) is gorgeous and affordable. I would have chosen them if my guest list didn't go up to 200.

The place off of 51 is Georgetown Centre and I know friends of mine are having their receptions at Salvatores which is in Baldwin (or near it anyway)
Everything happens for a reason; Don't regret anything you've done in the past because at some point it's what you wanted

You may want to try Chez Anthony Catering.  They are associated with St. Pamphilus Ballroom (Beechview), The Wendell Inn (Baldwin) and the VIP in South Park.  Very affordable and many offers/discounts for Friday weddings.

Amanda, I think it'd be helpful if you gave us a little more info than just not as fancy.  Do you want it outdoors?  Do you want it rustic?  Do you want it more modern (like a theatre or really hip venue - I'm not saying I have the answer in Washington for that), do you want it more like an Elks Lodge type place?  If you could give a little more detail, I think we'd be able to help a little better.

So, this really isn't helpful at all, but I was searching for a while, because I think that Robin Hill Mansion (clicky) could be an option.  I was thinking it was in the South Hills and unfortunately, its in Moon, so its a 40 minute drive.  But it looks more relaxed and rustic.

In my search, it looks like you can rent 100 Acre House in South Park.  I couldn't find any photos from weddings there, and I don't know if that's the direction you want to go, but you could look into that.

There is also the Family Life Center at St Thomas Moore in Bethel Park.  I couldn't find much info on it, but I had never heard of it before, so I figured it was worth mentioning.  This isn't really much help.  I'm sorry
