How much are your flowers going to cost?

Not really sure what the going prices for silk flowers are but I have a lady at my church who said she would do mine but for $625. Now that is for 1 bridal bouquet, 1 toss bouquet, 3 bridesmaid bouquets, 6 boutonnieres, 2 mothers corsages and a thing to go one the gazebo. Is that expensive? I am not sure if I really want to go with her or do them myself.

Is that for fresh flowers or silk? I went the silk route. So far for 1 bridal, 4 BM, 8 boutonnieres (1 Groom, 5 GM, 2 dad/grandpa), 4 corsages for moms/Grandmothers, and reception flowers, we've spent $94.71. And I don't foresee us needing to buy anything else.

My silk flowers ranged from $.64 each (single roses at Michael's) - $1.35 each (aka $8.15 for a bushel of 6 from JoAnn's).

Everything was on sale when I bought it or I had a 50% off coupon.

That sounds INCREDIBLY high. Even with the real touch and most elaborate of silk flowers, I can't imagine it costing that much.

They are for silk flowers not even real touch flowers. Thanks for the input I will definitely either be doing them myself or finding someone else!!

And the worst thing about this now is that she actually works at AC Moore you would think she would get a discount on the flowers.

Yikes! I havn't priced my floral arrangements out yet but I was hoping to spend max that for real flowers I guess I better add price flowers to my ASAP to-do list!

I'm doing my own silk:

Bridesmaids: $40 ea

Bouts - $6.50 ea

Corsages - $12 ea

Here's the bridesmaid bouquets - 2 hydrangeas, 2 roses, the red flower and the feather w/bling. Flowers half-price during sale at Hobby Lobby.

Unable to edit my post - the bridesmaid bouquets are $20 each. hydrangeas $4 on sale ($8 for 2) Roses $3.50 on sale ($7 for two), red flower $4 on sale, feather $1.

That's super high...

I'm paying 645 for real flowers.

1 bridal bouquet, 4 bridesmaid bouquet, 7 boutonnieres, 2 corsages, 1 large placecard centerpiece.

I'm paying 300 for real but the florist is giving us a deal since I'm best friends with her son and he's a groomsman in the wedding

Thanks girls!! I just found out even if I take the thing for over the gazebo it will cost $450. she said its because the color lillies I want (burgundy) were expensive thay cost $10 a stem. Now i didn't pick out the flower or have even gone to see them but thats really expensive!!

I would price out your flowers... I am using really cheap and big flowers, so it might be why there's a difference... I see that you're in S. Jersey... maybe you can call my florist (dominic graziano) and see how much it would be to do real flowers... Or maybe even fiftyflowers.com (bouquets are pretty simple if it's all the same flower).
