Anyone get their e-ring from Andrew's Jewelers at the mall?

.... cause I did, and they closed!! The closest one is Columbus. We have had many problems with my e-ring and finally got it appraised, which revealed that the diamond quality was far inferior to what FI thought he was buying. We went to a sister store in Defiance and they are trying to fix things for us. What a pain! What was the point of buying a service plan if we have to drive 1-2 hours away each time it needs inspected or serviced?

Gahh!! Sorry for the rant.

That stinks. Hopefully the store in Defiance will get things fixed up for you!  On the bright side, at least you shouldn't need it inspected/serviced too often in the future.  Good luck.

When did they close?! I just got my wedding ring from them last month! WTF! Seriously, what was the point of paying for insurance???!

OP - Do you happend to have the information for their sister stores, incase anything happens with my ring? 8 days until my wedding, and now I have something new to stress out about!

Shelly-- didn't mean to stress you right before your wedding! They closed on Wednesday... I'm not sure why. I did some research online and found out that they are owned by the same company that also owns the Rogers Jewelers and Samuel's Jewelers chains. The closest of all of those is at the mall in Defiance and their number is: 419-784-4110. They honor the service plans that were purchased at Andrews. The manager there has been really helpful and hopefully we get our issue resolved, but it is really inconvenient to have to drive an hour each way to get rings inspected every 6 months like we are supposed to.

Oh its not your fault! Thanks for letting me know! I wish they would have told us, I'm sure they knew that they were going to close a month ago. Lame.

My e-ring is from there too! I usually post on the Detroit boards since the weddings there, but we live right outside Toledo. FI has never liked them, he had tons of problems with them processing his payment for the ring incorrectly, and I lost a side diamond about a week after getting my ring sized, and the one they replaced it with was a darker color and not set quite right we we had to get it fixed again! So this isn't really super surprising to me.

But I do love my ring - it's a unique design that I couldn't find anywhere else. And while I'm not sure on the official diamond rating it's very sparkly and pretty to me. So I love my ring but yeah, they ran a pretty crappy business.
