Possible Venues

Hi!  My fiance and I are trying to find one or two places in South Jersey to check out for our reception.  We've looked at 2 places in PA, Normany Farm and Blue Bell Country Club.  We hated Blue Bell Country Club but are in LOVE with Normany Farm.  I would still like to check out a couple of closer to home places (we live in Vineland) and was wondering if anyone had any suggestions.  We want to avoid the shore areas (July wedding = way too pricey for accommodations).  So far we're thinking Lucien's Manor, Running Deer Country Club, and Tomasello Winery as possible places to check out.  The main reason we like Normandy is because it's beautiful, has a good selection of food, and the hotel is right there, so accommodations would be convenient.  Any suggestions?  Thanks!

I'm having my wedding at te Venice Plaza which is right down the street from Lucien's.  It's a beautiful venue with great food and Mike Olivieri is so nice and accommodating. They also only do one wedding at a time. His prices are very reasonable.  We are having ours on a Saturday night and it will be a sit down dinner for $75/person.

Some other places you can check out, Shannon's Country House which is down the street from Lucien's, Adelphia's in Deptford, and the Merion in Cinnaminson which is beautiful.  You should also check out Centerton Country Club in Pittsgrove. That is very close to Vineland and they give you a lot for your money.  It was about $100 per person, but they give you a cake, a huge dessert table, ice cream bar, any floor colored linens, and I think they give you center pieces as well. GL!

Im having my wedding at Luciens Manor im in the grand ballroom, and cant say enough about them. The room is beautiful as well as all the rest of their rooms. We went for our tasting last week and they have amazing food. We are working with Dee there and she is the best, really goes out of her way to make sure everything will be perfect. I highly suggest going at looking.

Both my FI and I wanted a vineyard theme so we are having our reception at Renault Winery in Egg Harbor city.  We also looked at Tomasello Winery in Hammonton, but didn't feel like the size of the room would accommodate all of our guest.

We also looked at Luciens, Venice Plaza, Shannons and Adelphia's and would have gone with Venice Plaza if it wasn't for our theme.  I felt that the price was great and you got a lot for your money.

Forgot to add that Renault has a hotel onsite since you mentioned hotel accommodations.

I'm having my reception at Luciens.  They have been wonderful to work with so far and as mhuesser2 said the grand ballroom is beautiful.  Check out Renault though! We would've gone with them, but we wanted something a little closer to home.

We are also having our reception at the Renault Winery. We looked at other wineries but Renault blew us away and was more of what we were looking for.

I'm getting married at the Merion in Cinnaminson and am so in love with my venue.  The staff has been amazing with me and has gone above and beyond to answer all my questions in a timely fashion.  The Merion has four ballrooms that are all different in character and are equally amazing!   I'm getting married in the chapel and my reception will be in the Empire ballroom....so I will have the entire bottom level to myself!

I visited the Tomasello Winery and while the staff was very helpful I was not impressed with the vinter's room, bar set up, bathrooms, no bridal suite, etc.  The room was simply too small to do stations for cocktail hour with my number of guests.  I loved all of the numerous wine and champagne options.....but that simply wasn't enough.
