Woodsy Ceremony Site?

OK gals, my daughter wants a ceremony and reception in a woods setting.  Problem is, she is thinking that she wants the reception in the same general area in either a pavilion or a rented tent....which in itself is not a huge issue, just the fact that they want an open bar IS!  All state parks have a 'no alcohol' policy.  :/  Anyone have some ideas for possible options?  If we can't find anything, she'll have to consider an indoor reception, I guess.

Thanks!

Try Lauxmont Farms in Wrightsville. You can have an outdoor ceremony and outdoor reception and they take care of the food and alcohol and everything. Plus...the view is spectacular!

try searching thru vrbo.com or homeaway.com for private rental properties. i am not sure how big the guest list is but a lot of vacation rental properties allow smaller weddings to take place and there are plenty that sit on acres of wooded area.

Check out Fallen Tree Farm in Carlisle- it's a B&B but has a tent on site and an absolutely gorgeous ceremony location in a sunken garden.  Almost went with it for my own wedding but they were booked on my date :(

I'm also having my reception at Riverdale Manor.  It had everything we were looking for....exposed beams, outside area for cocktail hour.  They do have their rules and regulations that you have to follow and can be a little stiff to change from their normal way of doing things.  However, if you explain to your coordinator that you really want something a certain way to make your day special, they will work with where they can.

You might also try the Stone Mill Inn in Hellam. Normally they have stuff indoors but they seem to have a lot of space outside so it may work for you!
